At the track you can lose a majority of bets but still make money if your wins are big enough. In Vegas you can make money on the 100% payout slots. Even though they win as much money as they lose, people still lose. That's because they simply play till they have no money. But if you simply use a good money management scheme and quit when ahead you can make money on the 100% slots. I often went in with $50 and usually went out with tens or even hundreds of extra dollars in my pockets.
