Is it helpful for those people? I believe it is very damaging. I believe that encouraging people (whether black, white, native american etc..) to think they are victims, keeps them from breakout out of the negative self view. Encouraging them to take handouts also encourages dependency. People like Jesse Jackson, Sharpton, Wright etc... have made a great living off of the exploitation of minorities. They are all charlatans who have stolen from their own community in the name of helping them.
