The USSR tried to let in a little light to help them in the area of technology.Their lies were so large and glaring that this light shed on them resulted in collapse of the system.Our lies are fed to us starting at public schools and enforced by peer pressure/cultural pressure.If I mentioned these lies it would only increase the defenses.It would be like psychoanalysis:It takes 20 years of therapy to see the truth( you have to believe you found it and not that the therapist led you to it)and you spend the rest of your life trying to get over it, but you never do. The French are told lies by their parents when the hold French culture as next to godliness.The Brazilians are told by there elite that they are wealthy in resources and they are the country of the future--and so they wait.....
