The reason that the newspaper announcements are meaningful is that there is no way that somebody could have forged them. They happened. They were published back in August 1961. There is no dispute as to their veracity.

They are evidence that there was a birth certificate submitted in hawaii back in August 1961.

Now, it is up to the birthers to come up with outrageous sequences of events to demonstrate how that birth certificate was filed when the baby wasn't actually born there, but was born in a small village in Western Kenya.
