Amazing!! Apparently George isn't aware that he is paying for his Part B (medical/Doctor) coverage. It is deducted from his SS check. He can choose, as some do, to opt for some private alternative or simple not subscribe to anything. Most that choose an alternative learn, when they need it, that they made a mistake in not accepting it when they turned 65 or became disabled. There is a 10 percent per year penalty for signing up late.

Part A, which covers hospital charges is paid for out of our taxes.
