"Idaho is another place I won't invest in after the ongoing FCO fiasco,"

Idaho is not the problem, it is the Feds. FCO sought permitting on federal lands (US National Forest). If you seek permitting on private or State lands in Idaho, it is a very simple process. In fact, an underground operation on private lands in Idaho has no permitting regs other than discharge of water to "waters of the United States" or trying to build on wetlands. Design and build your water treatment plant to meet Idaho(less onerous) and federal (more onerous) specs, discharge to alluvium on private ground (or sell to a water starved rancher) and you have no problem.

The majority of permits in Nevada are also on federal land. However, the radical enviros do not sue to change every decision that the BLM or USFS makes in Nevada, so you do not get the horrendous fiasco of FCO in Idaho.

I DON'T KNOW.

I figure everybody get out shovels and start their own mine. They can't arrest the whole province.

I think they are just stuffing ballot boxes. Everyone in the province can't be that stupid.

I like trees and beautiful wilderness, ducks, hamsters and fiddies too.

There has to be a way to have them and not have to go about digging with sticks and banning all the mines. The industrial progress of BC is embarassing. I don't think they make so much as a toothpick in that province.

We were doing better at the turn of the century.
