Texbanker,
because I find the birther argument to be akin to 9/11 truthers doesn't mean that I don't value US Natural Born Citizenship.

I could see why someone would lie to obtain it.

However, if obama was truly born in kenya while Stanley Ann was traveling, I doubt very seriously Stanley Ann or Grandma Dunham had any reason to believe that Obama jr wouldn't have natural born citizenship status. If Stanley Ann was actually worried about it, give me a logical reason why she would have been traveling in kenya 8 months, let alone 9 months into her pregnancy.

Even if the Grandmother figured out that there might be an issue, since, as longnshort has informed us, it is very easy to get a hawaiian BC, there would have been no need to rush and have it obtained the same week that he was born. They had up to a year to get the delayed certificate. Why rush?

But I get it.....if I want to be anti-obama i had better fall in line and believe the party line. In order to appreciate the value of Natural Born US citizenship, I have to believe that Obama was born in Kenya and is therefore not eligible to be the president.

But I have to admit, you've provided one hell of a case with all kinds of evidence supporting the claim. I never would have thought "it could have happened" and "maybe" and "that's what grandmothers do" would be so convincing.
