How Big Was the Crowd?

I just received this from a retired SF Officer I know well.

X (name deleted) and I went up to the 912 Protest in DC on Saturday. Don't believe the State-run press and their references to the 'tens of thousands' headcount reports. The Capitol Police maintained a bulletin board at an information center at the entrance to the Capitol stairs. Their noontime crowd estimate showed 1.25 - 1.5 million people. A Capitol Police lieutenant said it was bigger that the Inauguration turn-out, except we didn't leave the Capitol grounds looking like a cesspool.

This was worth attending ... a huge upper. And, any Congressional incumbent ... Republican, DemoKrat, Independent or Communist ... who ignores what happened in DC and at hundreds of other sites across the US on Saturday, does so at great risk to their future in politics.

More to come ...
