"being compassionate requires helping people in need"

I guess the Iraqis are just too DUMB to realize we were trying to help them because about 80% of them (outside the Kurds) HATE us and LOVE the guy that threw the shoes at Bush.

No, I think McCain is a pragmatist.

The trouble with SOME people on the Left AND on the Right is that it's ALL or NONE with them.

There's a case in Florida right now where some school administrators may be facing jail time for offering prayers before a school function. They had been warned before NOT to bring religion into school functions. This is a BIG deal for a lot of folks.

Let's say this was a different school and the SAME thing had happened BUT the school administrators had presented Muslim Prayers from the Koran instead of Christian Prayers from the Bible. Do you think it would STILL be a big deal for folks?
