I seriously doubt that the practitioners would be socialized. Since the great model for all things is France, home of the "freedom fry," then it won't happen. France hasn't done it nor is it headed that way. It's only the Brits.



If we were to follow the path you envision socializing medical practicioners is inevitable. The French example that is relevant is Paris traffic frozen annually when the government discusses reducing agricultural welfare.

The Mississippi obstetric crisis has finally ceased several years after the state enacted medical malpractice reform. Doctors voted with their feet. There were darn few remaining obstetricians in the entire state prior to reining in the trial bonanza against them.

American Doctors have proven that they will do what is in their own best interest when government makes their chosen way of life unrewarding.

What do you think all of the foreign born doctors would do? If you said anything other than emigrate you were most likely wrong.
