Perhaps establishing themselves as part of the protest then later on they could bring out their swastikas and such to make the protesters look like a bunch of nutcases.

I don't get it "Don't Tread on Me" is inoffensive...I would expect ACORN to be selling some kind of fascist flag at a tea party rally.

The profits on the sale of the flags were going to ACORN or it`s members.

Why not set up an ACORN stand and sell the flags? At least you know your money might be going to fund the next voter registration drive or house underage girls.
