I was really surprised to see how much Apple was charging for the 32 and 64 mb iTouches. The 64 mb was running close to $400.

As I said in an earlier post the surprise to me was the $199 price for the 8 Gig Touch.

With 8 Gigs for $199, 64 for $399 seemed like a deal to me. Maybe that was the plan all along to get people to think they were getting a better deal and buy the more expensive model.

Radio was a pet peeve among some people.

Sometimes life isn't all music and videos, you need to hear the news and commentary :-)

>>I couldn't figure out why they would put an FM radio on the nano. Who wants to listen to the radio on an iPod?<<

Keith -

I was never interested in radio on an iPod, but with the addition of the "live pause" feature, which allows you to pause live radio and even rewind up to fifteen minutes, I'm tempted.

I was discussing this upstream when the new Nanos were announced, but at that time I hadn't yet realized that they do have my dream radio feature. So often I find myself listening to NPR in the car, and wanting to go back to hear somebody say something I just missed.

There have to be some people out there who will be swayed by the inclusion of FM, especially since Apple has put that little twist on it. And it probably adds about twenty five cents to their parts cost.
