The union shops help everyone. The plight of the worker before unions was horrible. Sweat shops were pervasive and workers were treated like shit. Read your history! I have worked many jobs over my life time, both union and non union and I will take a union shop every time. Every time. You are foolish if you think big managememnt will treat you right without collective bargining! If you are a worker and think you can do better without unions you more foolish than I ever thought, and the reason big business used the southern strategy against you. You can be easily fooled. >>There is little difference in wages between non-union and union auto plants - thats been posted about on this thread by myself and others. The big differences is the non-union companies don't have to deal with productivity hurting union work rules, the non-union don't have a 30 year retirement policy, and have fewer retirees to pay for.<<
