The other people who have gold plated insurance policies are government union members. They are fighting this provision tooth and nail. The reason the unions are fighting for obamacare in general is because they stand to make $billions. First it will bail out their mismanaged health care plans to the tune of a couple of $billion. Secondly, today only about 20% of health care workers are unionized. In Canada that is about 90%. Obamacare will ensure they will make up that gap and receive $billions/year in new dues.
