Where did you get the $500T price tag by the way? Heard something like that on the radio. Please feel free to correct it at any time. You may have noticed and appreciated. though, that I used the same fictious figure in both examples. Yes, accepting the fact that we currently are in a process of global warming, man made or not, and want to spend some money on reducing the inevitable effects on our civilisation of same, I do accept that checking the options may be a better idea than just waiting it out. If spending that money on reducing CO2 output or moving cities up to higher grounds and building walls to keep the rising water out, however, that may still IMO be up to the result of further investigations. Rather than accepting the AlGore credo, allowing for some truly scientific analysis here may not be such a bad idea at all IMO. Taro
