"I have clearly stated that Clinton, under Gingrich's direction, did a pretty good job with his economic policy. There was plenty not to like about Clinton, but that he allowed Gingrich to take him to a better place, economically, is a tribute to Clinton." You see even this through your totally partisan lens. I guess you forgot that Clinton VETO'D several of Gingrich's appropriation bills, and "shut down the government", until Gingrich got his pork out. Memory any better? Clinton gets ALL the credit for fiscal discipline.
