Well that happens. I await their call on the next big overseas decision. Getting paid for the advice may be the hard part. But I did predict in a kind of sideways manner in my first take on the ARU thingie when their discovery hole was drilled that it could be a cliff hanger politicalwise in Ecuador where governments change with the frequency of nocturnal emissions and with as much effect. It appears that I called it.

You look at Dome Mines and the always got sandbagged overseas, taking it on the Chin in innumerable places. Venezuela, South Africa, New Guinea, Indonesia, Russia, the list is long. As far as overseas losers go, Dome is the all time heavyweight chump. Now Kinross got its start in my al mater town, Timmins Ontario with the Kinross 1060 zone. Could there be a co-inkydink noire here? Kinross, unlike DMM et al has a few more shekels and clout vis a vis gratuities etc. For handling they can call on the likes Mulroney to exert due influence on foreign governments, perhaps reminding them that they depend on Canadian banana eaters for their daily bread, so don't you be screwing the CDN gold miners or they will spit the bananas back at you.
