I'd say a racist today is much more likely to be (R) than (D).

Only two former segregationist Democratic pols switched parties to my knowledge - Helms and Thurmond. All the rest stayed Democrats and are still respected today - Al Gore's dad, Clinton's mentor, J Wm Fulbright, Sam Ervin of Watergate fame, Robert Byrd, dean of the Senate. Heck, Jimmy Carter was campaigning for "ethnic purity" in neighborhoods when he first ran for President.

Well, if you read the headlines of today, it's your democrat party pushing racism as the best defense for their own racism.

Or do you agree with Jimmy Carter that anyone that disagrees with Obama on a policy issue is a racist?
