It's going to backfire, Bill. Anybody not still inhaling the Hopium knows that they are "way, way, way into the Boy Who Cried Wolf territory here", to quote Allahpundit. They will reject the idea that it is racism to criticize a black president for any reason, and they will feel that the black candidate who presented himself as post-partisan and post-racial has really sold them a bill of goods. With all the Democrats crying racism (and I do mean all, how many voices have you heard today?), I'm looking for another slide coming in Obama's numbers. People will address their unhappiness to the source on this one, that's my guess.
