I think the tea party movement is real and will produce more change the next election. As long as we keep turning them over until they get it right we will be o.k. This country is far greater than its leaders Just as long as the fraudulent voter practices of ACORN and its like minded organizations and affiliates are thwarted. Obama didn't pay ACORN nearly a million dollars during the campaign to do nothing. Eric Holder didn't decline to prosecute the Black Panther arrested for voter intimidation for nothing. Somehow, Obama and the radical Democrats are making---or trying to make---any opposition to their radicalism a sign of racism. Mr. Uniter is nothing more than Mr. Race-Baiter. For example, Obama couldn't wait to accuse the Cambridge police (and effectively all police) of racism, but hasn't said a word about the white student beaten by black students on the bus. Eric Holder, while his oath of office was practically still hanging in the air, lectured the country about cowardice on the topic of race. Now we have Jimmy Carter specifically stating that opposition to Obama is racist. Indeed, anyone who opposes anything the Dems want to do is characterized as evil and anti-American. This from the bunch who attacked Bush continually for 8 years and whined to high heaven should anyone question their patriotism. I hope that the tea partiers and conservative protesters continue to gain strength. It's time for real people to have their voices heard. Organizations like ACORN and SEIU are nothing more than arms of the Democrat party, which has as much interest in actually helping people to succeed as a cat is interested in helping a mouse to have free run of the house. The Republican party is still pretty much rudderless, with enough RINOs and self-proclaimed moderates and dinosaurs like McCain and Grassley to keep it that way unless some new, strong leaders emerge. At least it appears that the protesters are actually inspiring the Republican hierarchy. Even Michael Steele seems to have grown one of late.<g> So maybe there is some hope.
