with talk from many investment gurus saying the dow "could go to 30,000", and comments like "DOW 100,000, why not"? it is dangerous to short anything unless you have inside information, then it's probably going to be a winner for sure.

what is particularly sobering is , let's continue the fantasy, if the dow really did go to some astronomical number, there would probably be no actual profit using inflation adjusted numbers and allowing for capital gain expenses.

Actually, today we've reached the price stretch point for my model, we ought to see some selling, but it's definitely not a sell signal... but, if we do back off and then rally back to today's levels, then we'll surely go higher... after all, this market has to be treated like a bull market...
