Same thing happened with lumber... wholesale prices dropped below Depression levels, but guess what? Middlemen kept the difference. End-users got squat.

Milk is $1.29-$1.49/gallon in my area on sale. $1.49 for non-hormone stuff and $1.29/gallon for the stuff with hormones.

I'm in a competitive grocery area. Everyday price has been $1.49-$1.98/gallon since April.
