It is a stupid idea. Yeah. Another great government takeover. Government already funded, subsidized and guaranteed student loans. 'Cause the banks could make more money with CDR's and wouldn't loan to students unless it was a sweetheart deal, and the Republicans are always happy to give tax dollars to big business in sweetheart deals. So instead of government giving the money, the subsidy and the guarantee to the banks they are just going to make the loans. And save $Billions of OUR tax dollars. Figures you would be against that.
