Well, I am looking forward to keeping my thermostat set (daytime) for 70 F. all winter. Always turn it off completely overnight for comfortable sleeping. Or almost completely. If it drops below zero F and indoor near the thermostat below 50, it will come on.

I certainly hope someone in the U. S. can convince the powers that run the country to use this respite to develop nuclear and renewable energy. But it may have to await a true emergency with winter fuel bills tripling.
