Now they don't need a judge. I have a long time acquaintance, an older ex-hippie. Mother of 4 kids. Super gentle Christian lady. She went to visit her kids in DC when Ashcroft was AG. Her kids(3 of them) are DC lifers and happen to attend the same church that Ashcroft's crew did at the time. After the evening service she was in the basement having the usual donuts and coffee and started talking with a man about Bush's invasions, Patriot Act etc. He became incensed and enraged(praise the Lord!) and her kids hustled her away from the church before he went violent. Turns out he was Ashcroft's right hand man. When she got back to Hawaii she already had an audit letter from the IRS. being retired and making a whopping 16k/year she was understandably puzzled. She called the iRS and eventually got through to a sympathetic soul who told her the following, "I don't know who you pissed off but this audit comes down from the top!" Of course, there was nothing illegal found but the lesson was learned. That is not a government of the people or by the people and certainly not for the people. Now Obama has the reigns.
