Well, someone asked me to define what a "bear market" or a "bearish trend" is. I explained that a "bearish trend" is one that is characterized by lower highs and lower lows.

As an example to illustrate this point, I showed them the chart of Ascend over the last 1 year! ;-)

I believe ASND is selling off on continued margin pressure. Those that bought on Monday or Tuesday need to either bring in more money to fullfill margin requirements or the broker will liquidate their position. It's only 1 point off of its 2 year low since 10/95.

Something that one may want to take into account, is that ASND volume is only 3 million. It's selling on low volume meaning that selloff here isn't that bad.
