Resistance continually seems to occur (at least recently) at 76. Need to break below that to see a dam burst effect.

What sucks is that the market is tanking and yet my AOL Nov 80 Puts aren't going anywhere!

IKM: If the bull case on AOL is right then it is a secular growth play. The market action this week is a sideshow as far as AOL is concerned.

If it can deliver numbers next week or in the near future, then there is almost no cyclical economic or market force that would keep it from moving higher. If the bears are proven right nothing can keep it afloat.

The bears here are convinced that the past is perfect prologue and that AOL is incapable of generating a meaningful profit. Perhaps some of the bears also think they know who will win the Super Bowl next year. For myself, I think there is a nice two-way gamble here and that I'm getting fair action for my money. I'll stick around.
