Sounds like heaven. I seem to recall you have an orchard, which would be like a deer magnet.

We had deer in the yard this winter, but normally they are in the foothills.

Anybody with arborvitaes knows they come in at night and chow down as high as they can reach.

A few years back we had moved the horses and let the pasture grow. I saw a doe go into the high stuff but her fawn couldn't figure the fence out. I opened the gate for him and he walked right past me and went looking for mama. A little later mama walked out the gate with 2 fawns.
