I take your point -- but with some hesitation. Ask the Chinese -- for 500 million of them, they can hardly recognize their own country because it has changed so much in the last 25 years. The middle class is about 200 million plus and growing at about 10-15% per year. China is deadly serous about environmental issues because it is so starkly staring them in the face. No joke, they are extremely motivated. They are prepared to pay and prepared to innovate -- we show no signs of being willing to pay and our motivation rarely takes us beyond window dressing. Worse still, we give air time to idiots who say it is all just a commie plot to take away your SUV. China will lead us into the future more than we will lead them -- they will lead with policies and technologies and products engineered mainly in China. And they will sell their solutions around the world -- we could be doing the same.
