lol.... well, i was not trying to convince you, but since you mentioned it.. yes, australia is a good choice....

if i remember correctly, (i did this once) you have to answer an initial questionaire... recently, there have been some changes to their policies... btw. that site deals with australia, new zealand, canada and the USA (but that is a n/a -g)

there are other ways to do this... i.e. *not officially* but that assumes independent (and secure) resources.

edit:

p.s. australia is not a third world country.... but although ran by a bunch of tax maniancs... its prospects are better than the USA (imo) *it is a resource country* and i do not see a bunch of new zelanders swiming across the ocean to get free health care (as both countries alrready have something similar, --> although i understand that in australia for the equivalent of about $75.- US/month one can participate in some sort of private health care system (this is at this point 'hearsay' as i have not been able to confirm)
