We have some capability to shoot down missiles now. Even if your take is its not mature enough to deploy, or that the threat isn't there yet and we don't need to deploy until the missile threat increases, it takes years to build the infrastructure for deployment we can start that now. Even if we could build and deploy instantly we shouldn't be cutting off areas for future deployment. If Polish and Czech deployment wouldn't be useful for 10 or 15 years, we still shouldn't take steps that may preclude such later deployment or make it more difficult.
