thanks, John, i listened to the conference call and like the Oracle at Delphi, Ed, Bo and Bill threw out enough mutterings to reinforce any speculations i may have had. it's obviously the great migration and at least half of the company's master plan. i take it that the cost of the WIntel product for SGI is not much by the standards of creating a product line like the O series, but the traverse may be very costly as WIntel mania confuses "real workstation users". i am certainly going to stick around for the dual R12K Octane with that IR graphics system that won't be available on the NT box before Quayle/Bush are safely in theyre second term;) may we all prosper and be amused,

Mr. Zulauf you speak enigmatically about NT. I seem to remember M$FT paying TDM to teach them how to cluster. Could it be I/O this time?
