I want a world for my children of peace and love. I agree with d[--]b on Disneyland. I'm sure we all want peace; the question is how you get it. You may be too young to remember it (and that is part of the problem, short memories), but Carter, followed by Reagan, proved decisively how you get "peace". Carter weakened the country in the course of four short years, and the result was an emboldened Soviet Union and even Iran felt it could roll over the US (and it did just that). Reagan, through strength, reunified Germany and ended the Cold War. But it may not matter. What good is peace and harmony if your children are living in poverty? This is where America is headed. Obama's domestic policy is a disaster and is destroying the future for your children. If you care about your children and their futures, you will through away your liberal ideology and learn something about economics. Because the economic tragedy Obama is bringing us threatens their future.
