Kyros, there's a glitch in the Matrix. I tried locating you in that link you gave, but the link didn't work so you have escaped detection. Good trick. I suppose others will do so too. We are trying to get everyone located, but it's difficult to get these things right.

In Latitude [if people don't break the link] people still can choose who sees where they are, or, more precisely, where a particular device is.

We are going to have to get people to have RFID chips inserted so the device has to be close to them to report their location.

Unfortunately, there are rogue surgeons who would remove RFID tags 'for medical reasons' so it's tough for us to get our Big Brother schemes in place. People could leave the RFIF and the device together somewhere, while they sneak off to the Semtex plant.

It's easy to track the regular bloke who doesn't care about being tracked, but the ones we want to track are the ones who give us all the trouble. We can just watch the regular bloke leave his house, get in his car which we have a tag on, drive to work, work, drive to the pub, hang out for a while, drive home. He doesn't care and is really easy to track. If you think it's boring sitting in rush hour traffic, you should try watching a whole lot of people doing it, every day. Then tracking them going to Wal-Mart.

Big Brother gets bad press but I tell you, it's had work being expected to be Big Brother.

Latitude is superficially a great aid for running The Matrix, but it's not really quite that simple.
