How old are you and what in your life makes you so sure you know more than I. I'm mid-50s. Your suggestion is that your liberal political ideology somehow reflects "knowledge". At best this is misleading. My background is in business and IT -- software development, and practiced as a CPA for 15 years. For the last 15 years, I have predominantly worked with physicians offices, selling and supporting a few software products targeted to physicians, and consulting with physicians about various office management issues. I think you explained a lot. Your point of view is that government is a solution to be embraced, mine is that it is a problem avoided. If you know anything about the history of how our country got here, you know that the Founders were very concerned about the country coming to the place we are now at. They ALL recognized it and the "popular quotes" websites are full of the proof. I've dealt with innumerable government agencies over the years. Lots of them -- IRS and CMS are the big ones, but also SSA, FBI, SEC, multiple state agencies in various states. Seldom have I seen one that was competently run. But I'm mostly concerned about a persistent liberal bent that is taking the country down the tubes. Failed social programs like Medicare, Medicaid, Unemployment compensation, various welfare programs, etc. -- expand without bound and seldom are mitigated. So, we now have HALF the country supporting the OTHER half. And Obama will exacerbate the problem if allowed. It is time for Americans to take their country back, or it will be lost forever. I don't claim to know this because I'm a brilliant individual; I know it because of years of experience in dealing with government and seeing the effects of it on ordinary people. How it intrudes on, and destroys peoples' lives. I've had to advise married couples their best option was to divorce because of an IRS run amok. I've been with 65-year old taxpayers as they were denied their Social Security benefits by bureaucrats who don't understand the law. I've watched as physicians went six months without a payment from Medicare because of bureaucratic SNAFUS -- people who literally had to borrow money to continue seeing patients while CMS worked out its problems. Government is a necessary evil, and to be tolerated, not embraced. I have never seen a government that worked well. I can't name a one. Here's what you don't get: Your government, through its massive deficits and massive [future] tax increases is sucking the life blood out of our own economy, and the future for your children and theirs -- it is already bleak. If this isn't stopped, it only gets worse from here. It is beyond me how you (or anyone) can't see this. But you can't, you refuse to.
