With access to the Internet now, Iranians are able to get news from all over the world. They understand what's going on and the need to change things. Trouble is the people they're backing are just as bad. Rafsanjani, the former president, has been linked to killings, bombings, torture, etc. He's also purported to be the richest man in Iran. And he's a mullah. The Iranians would just be trading bad mullahs for more bad mullahs. Nothing would change. Sharia Law would still be in force.
