I live in two jurisdictions. In one there are various special interest groups that are either distinct societies within the greater society or special interest groups that have pedestal status because of original ethnic status and one because of their French heritage and another because they are a mix of French and Indian. A true democratic society cannot have an ethnic group that is born entitled administered by an aristocracy of lawyers. The Greeks were well educated but believed it was necessary to have a slave class. It will change when it becomes too top heavy from entitlements and paying the administrative aristocracy and simply collapses.
