Here is the truth SS, there was never a a conservative intellectual position. Even when comparing the moderation of both Buckly and Goldwater to Beck and Ruc, remember both of the former were racists. I would love to debate anyone who thinks there is either a sophisticated conservative philosophy or for that matter even a sophisticated moderate philosophy. Conservatives are backward thinkers and the most anyone can say about moderates is that they are polite.
