If one is unable to understand evolution, they are simply not qualified to be president. Period.

It has to do with a level of intellectual functioning and the president has to be among the smartest and most informed of us, not among the most ignorant.

A ridiculous and totally IGNORANT statement. There was not a Republican candidate last time (or at anytime that I can recall) who doesn't "understand evolution". AFAIK, they just happen to have a different belief system than YOU do.

Mike Huckabee's response is about as eloquent as you can get:

Now, you can disagree with Huckabee. I do. But to argue that he "doesn't understand" evolution is f*cking stupid. The man understands it better than YOU ever will. I can't speak to the other two.

This is what is wrong with the Left. You believe that it is your way or the highway. You need to come to understand that even though you may not agree with another person's religion, this country was founded on religious freedom and Mitt Romney or Mike Huckabee not sharing your religious beliefs -- or your lack of them -- does not allow for them to be blacklisted.

I personally find your posts to be pretty ignorant most of the time. Child-like, in fact. And I believe that about most liberals. You, collectively, seem like stupid people to me. But more than anything, you're intolerant.

If you are not willing to allow others their religious freedoms, you are in the wrong f*cking country.

People who reject evolution understand it as well as those who accept it.

"So I think one of the most surprising findings has to do with the relationship between understanding the basics of evolutionary theory and accepting it as our best account of the origins of human life. So most people, I think, [or] in particular scientists, tend to think that if people reject evolution and in particular evolution by natural selection, it's because they don't understand it very well; they don't really understand what the theory is telling us. But in fact, if you look at the data from psychology and education, what you find is either no correlation between accepting evolution and understanding it or very, very small correlation between those two factors...."
