It was my impression that tech stocks always had low debt levels, even before 2000/2001 tech bust. Maybe it was because they always obtained equity easily. :)

Did you miss the "off balance sheet" variety such as the guarantees for the Freddies, the Fannies and the like <g> One can perhaps view these as the SPVs of the federal government.

The list has been growing; and, the balance on each entry on the list has been rising. That's geometric.
