Businesses struggling with excess debt will not be able to hire new workers until that business has completed their bankruptcy filing to eliminate their debt which can no longer be paid.

Isn't this akin to a dog chasing his tail...???

The business going thru Bankruptcy pays his lenders(Vendors) off at a dime on the dollar or not at all...say 10 or so Vendors get ripped of which 7 can afford the loss but the other 3 are now forced into their own Bankruptcy and the process continues on and on and on... a dog chasing his tail if you will....

IOW Americas unemployment problems will not be corrected thru continuing Bankruptcy's which you confuse with Debt elimination...

America, somehow, needs to Re-establish its Manufacturing base, Construction base (Housing), not sure how this will come about.....

IMO Hawkmoon is closer to reality than what your post's indicate your thinking is...

just my humble opinion ......
