What's the sentiment in your part of the world about what is going on in DC. I can make a wild guess. short answer (and putting it mildly) is: disgusted... and some of the more extreme guys... are ready to secede from the US (to which i would agree) however.... it is far more complicated than that.... because there are things that have been put in motion that the visceral reaction is beyond practical considerations.... yes, one can be a romantic and say... i will fight for this country from the inside... well... good luck. smarter men than i agree with the above: (example) "The most dangerous man, to any government, is the man who is able to think things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost invariably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane and intolerable, and so, if he is romantic, he tries to change it. And if he is not romantic personally, he is apt to spread discontent among those who are." —H.L. Mencken so... i am not a romantic... i look out for myself.... i despise the bastards from DC --> but it is not ONLY DC who is out of control... meaning most of the local politicians, to a different degree... are guilty of what is going on right now... and they must pay for their deeds... i have never thought myself as a martyr. therefore, if i had no choice... yeah, i will join the 'good fight'... thing is... i DO have a choice. the US politicians are doing what the catholic church has been practising for centuries.. and having experienced such influence, i learned at a young age to tell those who use guilt to go fuck themselves... ergo... USA politicians... GFY'ves
