OPK is presenting this afternoon at the Global Life Sciences Conference at the Gand Hyatt in NY. I have not been able to listen yet to the replay or look at the presentation slides at OPK's website. But OPK announced today an agreement to raise another $30M in a private placement transaction. It had raised a previous $30M in June, as per previous comments, but it had been using the cash on acquisitions at a good clip.<g> The stock is down 2.63% at present on volume still below its ADV. bigcharts.marketwatch.com If the company can continue its recent acquisition trend, it seems that it will again use its new money on short notice.As previously mentioned, its management has history of good judgement concerning investments in previous companies.<g> Although the price for conversion of the debentures issued on today's agreement is around $24, I will still keep my 'target' at $3.50 to $4 <g> bigcharts.marketwatch.com Bernard
