There are several avenues available to public companies to avoid delisting which in hind sight is not what VRS was seeking. On the contrary.

There are obvious strategic reasons for a deviant company to let themselves be delisted, i.e. a leaner to non existent regulatory framework, they do not have to disclose their finances and delisting makes it harder to trade shares and kill the market for them altogether. I think delisting is something VRS management and Board was hoping for all along which makes their machinations all the more machiavellic and despicable. The battle needs to be kept public and as loud as it can get.

PS. belated congrats to Kidl and the gang for keeping this thread going.
