He continues to be very impressive. We are lucky to have his advice to this Administration through Hillary. It is time for Obama to match the brilliance of this power couple. He needs to pull out of Afghanistan and turn the war against Al-Qaeda into a police issue. We are currently fighting the Al Qaeda plot in the US via the policing agencies and not the US military. I ask why do we not continue to use the World police groups in Afghanistan and Pakistan also.

Pull troops out from Afghanistan, work with police agencies around the world to root out AQ. ========================================= McChrystal leak backlash The presumed motive of whoever leaked McChyrstal's assessment to Bob Woodward is that they were on the side of making the general's case for more troops to Afghanistan. But two reports today suggest it may be stirring the opposite effect: a questioning inside and outside the administration of McChrystal's proposed strategy. The NYT reports that Obama is looking at changing the strategy from the one McChrystal proposed of using U.S. troops to protect the Afghan population, to basically focusing them on targeting Al Qaeda. ....contd at politico.com
