Daniel, you wrote People are concerned that there may indeed be some future impact of the price war (the one that is *wink* not happening as we speak in the box industry), that markets may possibly be softer than originally projected, that the future, though bright, may not live up to the extraordinary numbers of the recent past ... These are the kinds of issues that I include when I talked about the underlying growth story. From all that I've read, the computer manufacturers are expected to grow at about 16% per annum, and Dell is expected to grow at about twice that rate. I haven't seen any downward revisions of these numbers. Also, I can't discern any evidence of price wars in CPQ's latest quarterly report. Finally, I've never argued that the kind of growth Dell has experienced in the past could be maintained, so if you're looking for someone who believes that Dell will triple in the next 12 months you'll have to look elsewhere.

Regards,

Paul
