But there has to be base regulation, and if it crosses state lines that that has to fall to the feds.

If you have one set of national rules you have a level playing field.


You don't have to have a "perfectly level" playing field. You buy a policy in Arkansas. When you move to Florida it is subject to Florida law.

As I previously pointed out we have this happen all the time now and there are no major problems with it (and in fact, there are some efficiencies that are gained in the process).

Unnecessary federal regulation is a destructive force.
