If Obama wanted to get the people who are uninsured now insurance he would get behind the proposal to allow interstate sales without states' mandates. After that shook out we would find out how big the problem really is. Then the government could start to address it. As it is currently proposed it is simply a government takeover. I assume the reason they need to take over 100 million people's insurance coverages is to cover up the excessive costs of the roughly 5 million who currently appear to be uninsurable.
