Spoke too soon... iPhone just went dead again and is getting hot again. Guess my genius wasn't such a genius.
Back to the drawing board.


I wouldn't be so fast to jump to the conclusion that the Genius was in error. You may have an App that is causing your issue.

So now the fun begins. You may have to reformat the iPhone and set it to it's factory default state and play with it for a few days and see if the same thing happens again. If it does then it's hardware, if not it's one of your apps and you will have to add them 1 at a time until you find that problem app.
