You are nuts if you don't think insurance companies need to ne regulated.

Oversight is needed, not necessarily in the form of regulation. Do you spell everything out in detail and enforce every detail of how your kids' soccer teams are operated? Of course you don't. You ask a few key questions, review progress reports, and keep your eyes peeled for telltale signs of problems at which point you would intervene. Otherwise, you let them do their thing. Think of it as "trust but verify." It's not binary--blind trust vs detailed regulation.

God are you totally naive? These are for profit companies we are talking about. They are in the business of charging people a the maximum amount of money possible and paying out as little as possible.

It is not in their interests -- financial or fiduciary -- to NOT pay a claim as required, contrary to the lies spread by the administration.

If a person dies, is injured, or can even make an ARGUMENT that he was injured, because of an insurance company's inaction ambulance chasers are standing in line to make them pay.

This is why Obama has had to resort to lies about these incidents. They just aren't that frequent.

Anyone who has to resort to that kind of insulting argument leads one to think they are as dishonest as Obama.
